Hello All,
AFA has just in the past few days repaired the last of the washouts to re-establish access to Radiant Lake and the Odenback area. Since gaining access we have discovered that the bridge immediately to the south of the old Odenback mill site (see map below) is in very poor condition and unsafe for use of any kind. The steel bins that the bridge sits on have deteriorated past the point of repair, the bridge deck has started to sink, and there is a possibility of complete collapse.
they are in the process of considering different options at the site and realize the importance of access to several user groups. In the meantime, our recommendation is:
Bridge Unsafe – Closed to all Use
Please pass along this note to groups and individuals that could be using the bridge.
